This Privacy Policy explains how the App Android app (package name com.vape.quit.smoking.tracker) (the "App") handles information. The App is published by the developer listed on the App's Google Play page ("we", "us", "our"). If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at kcorporation70@gmail.com.
Summary
- The App does not require an account, and we do not operate our own servers. Your quit-tracking entries (what you use, daily logs, quit date, streaks, money saved, reminders) stay on your phone.
- The free version of the App shows ads through Google AdMob. Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Remote Config are also built into the App. These Google services process technical data such as your advertising ID, device information and IP address, as described below.
- Optional subscriptions are sold and processed by Google Play. We never receive your payment card or bank details.
- You can erase all App data stored on your phone at any time using Settings → Delete everything.
1. Information stored only on your device
When you use the App you may enter or generate the following information. It is saved in the App's private storage on your phone and is not sent to us:
- what you use (vape, nicotine pouches or both), your usual daily amount, nicotine strength and brand;
- your quit date, your step-down plan and daily limits;
- daily logs of puffs and pouches, slips, streaks and milestones, and the estimated nicotine and money-saved figures calculated from them;
- the reasons you select for quitting and other in-app choices;
- reminder settings (for example the hour of your daily check-in), language and theme preferences;
- whether a subscription is active on this phone.
This information is health-related. It stays on your phone, we cannot access it, and Android's automatic app backup is turned off for the App, so the App does not copy it to your Google Drive backup. If you add the home-screen widget, the widget displays your streak day, today's count and money saved on your home screen using only the data stored on your phone.
2. Information processed by Google services in the App
The App includes the following services provided by Google LLC. They process the technical data needed to work. We do not receive your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, files or precise location through any of them.
a) Advertising – Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform
The free version of the App shows ads (for example when the App opens, on the home and check-in screens, and between screens). To deliver and measure ads, Google may collect and process:
- your Google Advertising ID and, on newer Android versions, Privacy Sandbox signals (Topics and attribution data);
- an App Set ID;
- your IP address, from which an approximate location may be inferred;
- device and app information (device model, operating system version, language, screen size, network type, app version);
- information about the ads you see and tap;
- your consent choices.
Where required by law (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and certain US states), the App shows a consent message from Google's User Messaging Platform before personalised ads are requested. If you tap an ad while offline, the ads SDK may show a notification so you can return to the advertiser's page when you are back online.

b) Analytics – Google Analytics for Firebase
The App includes Google Analytics for Firebase, which automatically records standard usage events such as first open, sessions, screen views, engagement time, app updates and in-app purchase events, together with a random app-instance identifier, your Advertising ID (where available), device and app information and your IP address. We use this information to understand how the App is used and to improve it. The App does not send your quit logs, nicotine amounts or other health-related entries to Analytics.

c) Remote configuration – Firebase Remote Config
The App downloads configuration values from Google, such as which features are enabled, which ad placements and subscription plans are shown, price labels and plan settings. Different users may receive different configuration values. When fetching configuration, the App sends a Firebase installation identifier, app version, language, country/time zone and basic device information to Google.
d) Subscriptions – Google Play Billing
Optional weekly, monthly or annual subscriptions are sold through Google Play. Google Play handles the payment and your payment details; we never receive your card or bank information. The App receives only the product identifier, a purchase token and the purchase state so that it can unlock premium features and turn off ads for subscribers. Your subscription status is stored on your phone. You can view, change or cancel subscriptions at any time in the Google Play app under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
Google Play Terms of Service: https://play.google.com/about/play-terms/
e) Google Play Install Referrer and Firebase Installations
The Google SDKs in the App may read the Google Play install-referrer string to attribute the installation to a campaign. Firebase Installations creates a random per-installation identifier used by the Firebase services described above.
3. Permissions the App uses and why
- Notifications – to deliver your daily check-in reminder, milestone notifications and a notice when a "delay the next pouch" timer ends. The ads SDK may also use notifications as described in section 2(a). You can decline this permission or turn notifications off in Android settings; the App still works.
- Run at start-up – so that scheduled reminders are restored after your phone restarts.
- Internet and network state – to load ads, consent messages and remote configuration, to process subscriptions, and to tell you when Google Play cannot be reached. Your logs and plan work offline.
- Advertising ID and Android ad-services permissions – used by Google's advertising and analytics services as described in section 2.
- Google Play Billing – to offer subscriptions.
- Vibrate, wake lock and foreground service – library-level permissions used for notification delivery and background task scheduling.
The App does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, photos, files, phone, SMS or Bluetooth.
4. How we use information
We use information only to:
- provide the App's features (plans, logs, streaks, reminders and the widget) on your device;
- show and measure ads in the free version;
- understand how the App is used and improve it;
- configure features and offers remotely;
- provide and restore subscriptions and prevent fraud;
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Sharing of information
- Google LLC – the AdMob, User Messaging Platform, Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Remote Config, Firebase Installations, Google Play Billing and Install Referrer services receive the technical data described in section 2. Google acts as an independent controller for advertising data and as our service provider for analytics and configuration. Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Legal requirements – we may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety or property.
We do not share your data with any other advertising, analytics, attribution, crash-reporting, authentication or cloud provider. No other third-party SDKs are included in the App.
6. Data security
Data exchanged with Google services is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. Your quit-tracking data is kept in the App's private storage, which Android isolates from other apps, and it is not included in Android's automatic backup. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Data on your phone is also protected by your device's own security settings, such as your screen lock.
7. Data retention
- Data on your device is kept until you delete it in the App (Settings → Delete everything), clear the App's storage, or uninstall the App.
- Data processed by Google is retained according to Google's policies and the retention settings of our Firebase project. We do not operate our own servers and hold no separate copy of your data.
- Subscription records are retained by Google Play as required for billing, tax and legal purposes.
8. Your choices and data deletion
- Delete data on your phone: open Settings in the App and choose Delete everything. All logs, numbers, streaks and reminders on this phone are wiped, and this cannot be undone. Uninstalling the App has the same effect. Deleting App data does not cancel a subscription; manage subscriptions in Google Play.
- Advertising choices: in Android Settings → Google → Ads you can reset or delete your Advertising ID and opt out of ad personalisation. On Android 13 and later you can also manage Privacy Sandbox settings under Settings → Privacy. You can manage your Google ad settings at https://adssettings.google.com. If you were shown a consent message in the App, you can change your choice through these settings or by contacting us.
- Notifications: turn reminders off in the App or in Android's notification settings.
- Analytics data held by Google on our behalf: to request deletion of analytics data linked to your installation of the App, email kcorporation70@gmail.com. Because the App has no accounts, we may ask you for details that help us identify your installation.
- Your legal rights: depending on where you live (for example the EEA or UK under the GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact us at kcorporation70@gmail.com.
9. Children's privacy
The App helps people quit nicotine products and is intended for adults who are of legal age to use such products in their country. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
10. Health information disclaimer
Content in the App about nicotine, cravings and recovery is general information and not medical advice. Talk to a doctor or pharmacist about support for quitting. Your health-related entries stay on your device as described in section 1.
11. International data transfers
The Google services used by the App may process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States. Google maintains safeguards for such transfers, including standard contractual clauses and participation in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. If we make material changes, we will announce them in the App or on the App's Google Play page before they take effect. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
13. Contact us
If you have questions, requests or complaints about this Privacy Policy or your data, email us at kcorporation70@gmail.com.
