1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how the App Android application ("App" or the "App"), provided by FT PVT. LIMITED ("FT PVT. LIMITED," "we," "us," or "our"), accesses, uses, transfers, and stores information.
App helps users transfer selected content from one Android device to another using the same Wi-Fi network or a hotspot. The App does not require an account and does not ask users to provide a name, email address, or phone number.
2. Information and content accessed by the App
Depending on the features used and permissions granted, App may access:
Contacts
Photos and videos
Music and other audio files
Documents and other files
App installation files selected and made available by the user
The App accesses this content only to display eligible items, let the user choose what to transfer, send selected content, and save received content on the receiving device.
Personal content selected for transfer is processed locally and transferred directly between the user's devices. It is not sent to, uploaded to, routed through, or stored on FT PVT. LIMITED servers. FT PVT. LIMITED does not use transferred content for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any unrelated purpose.
3. Permissions
App requests permissions only when needed for an App feature. These may include:
Photos, videos, and media
Used to display and transfer photos, videos, music, and other supported media selected by the user, and to save received media on the receiving device.
Files and storage
App uses Android's system file-selection tools, including the Storage Access Framework, to let users choose files, documents, folders, or supported app installation files for transfer and select where received files are saved. The App does not require unrestricted access to all files for this purpose.
Contacts
Used to read contacts only when the user chooses to transfer them. Contacts are transferred directly between the selected devices and are not uploaded to FT PVT. LIMITED servers.
Camera
Used only to scan a QR code for device connection and transfer setup. App may use Google ML Kit to provide the machine-learning-based QR code scanning feature. Camera images used for scanning are processed on the device and are not uploaded to FT PVT. LIMITED servers.
Location
Android may require Location permission to support Wi-Fi or hotspot-based device discovery and connection. App uses this permission only for that functionality. FT PVT. LIMITED does not use it to track the user's physical location or store location data on its servers.
Network access
Used to check network availability, establish a local connection between devices, complete Wi-Fi or hotspot transfers, and allow the third-party services described in Section 8 to operate.
Notifications
Used to display transfer progress, status, completion notices, and other relevant App messages or notifications, including notifications delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging. Users can disable notifications in Android settings.
Granting permission does not cause transferred content to be uploaded to FT PVT. LIMITED servers. If a user denies or revokes a permission, the related feature may not work.
4. How device-to-device transfer works
The user selects one device to send data and another to receive it. The devices connect using:
The same Wi-Fi network; or
A hotspot created or joined for the transfer.
A QR code may be scanned to help connect the devices. The user then selects the supported content to transfer.
Transfers occur directly between the connected devices. FT PVT. LIMITED does not operate an intermediary transfer server and cannot access the transferred content. Data transferred through both supported methods—same-network Wi-Fi and hotspot—is encrypted during transfer.
Users should connect only to devices they recognize and use trusted Wi-Fi networks or password-protected hotspots.
5. Local processing and local data
App handles transferred content locally on the user's devices. Received content is saved on the receiving device in the location used by the relevant Android system or selected by the user.
The App may also store transfer-related information locally to support its operation and display transfer status or history. FT PVT. LIMITED does not receive this local information. The precise local fields may depend on the App version and transfer performed.
6. Storage and retention
Transferred content saved on the receiving device is not automatically deleted. It remains until the user deletes it using the relevant Gallery, Contacts, Music, or Files app.
Transfer-related information stored by App is not automatically deleted, and the App does not currently provide a separate control for manually deleting transfer history.
Users can remove the App's locally stored data by clearing App's storage in Android settings or uninstalling the App. Content saved outside the App's private storage may remain after uninstall and must be deleted separately.
Third-party services retain information according to their applicable policies and settings.
7. How information is used
App uses information and device access to:
Discover and connect the user's devices
Display transferable content selected or made available by the user
Transfer content directly between connected devices
Save received content on the receiving device
Display transfer progress and status
Deliver relevant push notifications and App messages
Provide and verify paid features
Display and measure advertising
Obtain and manage applicable privacy and advertising consent where required
Analyze App usage and performance
Detect, diagnose, and fix crashes and technical problems
Remotely manage supported App configuration, settings, or features without requiring an App update
Provide machine-learning-based App features
Respond to support or privacy inquiries
Meet applicable legal and security obligations
Transferred personal content is not used for advertising, analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, push notifications, or remote configuration.
8. Third-party services
App includes third-party services for advertising, consent management, analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, push notifications, remote configuration, machine-learning-based features, and purchases. These services may process technical information separately from personal content transferred between devices.
Depending on the provider, device settings, region, consent choices, and SDK configuration, technical information may include IP address, approximate location inferred from an IP address, device and App information, advertising or app-instance identifiers, App interactions, ad interactions, diagnostic data, and purchase or subscription status. App does not intentionally provide transferred contacts, photos, videos, music, documents, files, or app installation files to these providers.
8.1 Advertising and consent management
App displays ads through Google AdMob. Google AdMob may process technical information to deliver ads, measure performance, limit repeated ads, prevent fraud, and, where permitted, provide personalized advertising.
App uses the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) and Google Consent Form to request, obtain, record, and manage applicable user consent or privacy choices for advertising and related data processing where required. The consent options shown may depend on the user's region, applicable law, device settings, and the App's advertising configuration.
Google's processing is governed by its applicable policies:
Google Privacy Policy
How Google uses information from apps that use its services
Users can manage available consent choices through the consent form when provided. Users may also manage available advertising controls, including resetting or deleting the advertising ID where supported, through Android or Google settings.
8.2 Firebase services
App uses these Google Firebase services:
Firebase Analytics: processes App interaction and usage information to help us understand how the App is used.
Firebase Crashlytics: processes crash reports, error diagnostics, and relevant device or App information to help identify and fix technical problems and improve App stability and performance.
Firebase Performance Monitoring: processes performance and diagnostic information, such as App startup or network-performance measurements, to help identify performance problems.
Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): supports the delivery of push notifications and relevant messages to users.
Firebase Remote Config: allows supported App configuration, settings, or features to be managed remotely without requiring users to install an App update.
App does not intentionally include transferred content, contact names, file names, file paths, or transferred-file contents in Firebase Analytics events, Crashlytics reports, Performance Monitoring data, Cloud Messaging content, or Remote Config settings.
For more information, see Firebase Privacy and Security and the Google Privacy Policy.
8.3 Google ML Kit
App uses Google ML Kit to provide machine-learning-based features within the App, including support for scanning QR codes used for device connection and transfer setup.
Google ML Kit is used for the relevant App feature and not to use transferred personal content for advertising, analytics, or profiling. For more information about Google's privacy practices, see the Google Privacy Policy.
8.4 Google Play Billing
App offers paid plans, subscriptions, or in-app purchases through Google Play Billing. Google Play processes payment details; FT PVT. LIMITED does not receive the user's full payment-card or bank-account details.
The App receives purchase and entitlement information from Google Play, such as whether a purchase or subscription is active, to unlock paid features or remove ads. Users can manage or cancel subscriptions through their Google Play account. See the Google Privacy Policy and Google Play Terms of Service.
9. Data sharing and disclosure
FT PVT. LIMITED does not sell, rent, upload, or disclose the user's transferred personal content to advertising, analytics, or other third-party providers.
Information may be disclosed only in these circumstances:
To the device selected by the user: selected content is transferred to the receiving device as requested.
To third-party services: providers identified in Section 8 may process technical, advertising, consent, analytics, diagnostic, performance, messaging, configuration, machine-learning, or purchase-related information through their services or SDKs according to their policies and the App's configuration.
For legal or security reasons: FT PVT. LIMITED may disclose information in its possession when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or valid legal process, or protect users, FT PVT. LIMITED, or others from fraud, abuse, or security threats.
For support: information voluntarily included in an email to FT PVT. LIMITED is used to respond to the request.
10. Security
App encrypts data transferred directly between devices over both same-network Wi-Fi and hotspot connections. Transferred content is not routed through FT PVT. LIMITED servers.
Users remain responsible for selecting the correct receiving device, protecting their devices and hotspot credentials, and deleting transferred content when no longer needed. No transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. User choices and permission management
Users can:
Choose which content to transfer
Accept or reject a device connection
Grant, limit, or revoke permissions through Android settings
Turn notifications on or off through Android settings
Review and manage applicable consent choices through the Google Consent Form when provided
Manage available advertising preferences through Android or Google settings
Manage or cancel paid subscriptions through Google Play
Delete received content through the relevant Gallery, Contacts, Music, or Files app
Clear App's local App data or uninstall the App
12. Data deletion and privacy rights
App has no account system and does not store transferred content on FT PVT. LIMITED servers. FT PVT. LIMITED therefore cannot remotely access or delete content stored on users' devices. Users control that content and can delete it through their device applications and settings.
Users may clear App's locally stored App data through Android settings or uninstall the App. Content saved outside the App's private storage may remain until deleted separately.
Depending on applicable law, users may have rights concerning personal information processed by FT PVT. LIMITED, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection. Contact us at kcorporation70@gmail.com. Because the App has no accounts, we may not be able to identify technical information processed under pseudonymous identifiers without additional information. Third-party providers may offer their own privacy-request mechanisms under the policies linked in Section 8.
13. Children's privacy
App is a general-audience utility intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. The App does not ask users to create an account or provide their name, email address, or phone number.
Advertising, consent-management, analytics, crash-reporting, performance-monitoring, messaging, remote-configuration, and machine-learning services may process information as described in this Policy. If the App's target audience or treatment of younger users changes, FT PVT. LIMITED will update the App's configuration, disclosures, and this Privacy Policy as required.
If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided personal information directly to FT PVT. LIMITED, they may contact us at kcorporation70@gmail.com.
14. International processing
Personal content transferred through App remains between the user's connected devices and is not transferred internationally by FT PVT. LIMITED. Third-party providers identified in Section 8 may process technical information in other countries, subject to their privacy policies and applicable safeguards.
15. Third-party ads and links
Ads or links displayed in App may open websites or applications operated by third parties. Their content and privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.
16. Changes to this Privacy Policy
FT PVT. LIMITED may update this Privacy Policy when App's features, permissions, third-party services, or data practices change. The revised policy will show an updated date. Where appropriate, we may also provide notice in the App, through a push notification, or through the App's Google Play listing.
