The App is designed primarily to process documents directly on your device. Your scans, imported images, PDFs, recognised text, signatures and other document content are not intentionally uploaded to FT PVT. LIMITED servers.
We do not operate document-storage servers for this App and the App does not require you to create an account.

2. Information We Collect and Process
Information Processed on Your Device
The App may process the following information locally on your device:
photos captured through the camera;
document scans;
book scans;
ID-card images;
visiting or business cards;
images imported from your device;
PDF files;
JPG or other supported image files;
signatures;
annotations;
stickers;
recognised text generated through OCR;
QR-code and barcode content;
document names;
document dates;
page order;
favourites and saved status;
file paths;
App settings;
selected language;
scan quality settings; and
Premium status.
This information is normally stored locally on your device and is not intentionally sent to FT PVT. LIMITED.
Your existing policy correctly states that scans, PDFs, signatures, OCR content and similar document information remain on the device.
Advertising and Technical Information
The App uses Google advertising services.
Google may automatically process information such as:
Advertising ID;
App Set ID;
IP address;
approximate location derived from IP address;
device model;
operating-system version;
language;
App version;
advertising interactions;
ad impressions and clicks;
diagnostics; and
performance information.
The App does not request GPS location for advertising.
Purchase Information
If you purchase Premium through Google Play, Google processes the payment.
We do not receive or store your:
credit-card number;
debit-card number;
bank details; or
complete payment credentials.
The App may receive limited purchase information such as:
product ID;
purchase status;
purchase token; and
subscription or entitlement status.
3. How We Collect and Use Information
Information may be processed when you:
scan a document;
select an image;
open or edit a PDF;
create a signature;
use OCR;
scan a QR code or barcode;
purchase Premium;
view or interact with an advertisement; or
contact us for support.
We use information only as necessary to:
provide document-scanning features;
create and edit PDFs;
process images;
recognise text;
scan QR codes and barcodes;
save local App settings;
manage local document history;
verify Premium purchases;
display advertisements;
measure advertising performance;
prevent fraud;
manage privacy and advertising consent;
maintain App functionality and security; and
respond to support or privacy requests.
We do not use your locally stored documents to create advertising profiles.
4. Third-Party Services and SDKs
The App uses certain third-party services and SDKs.

Premium payments in the App are handled through Google Play Billing. FT PVT. LIMITED does not operate its own payment-card processing server and does not intentionally collect or store payment-card details.

5. Advertising and Consent
The free version of the App may display advertisements using Google AdMob.
Depending on your region and privacy choices, advertisements may be personalised or non-personalised.
For users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland or other regions where consent is required, the App may use Google's User Messaging Platform to request and manage advertising consent.
You may be able to change your advertising choices through the App's privacy settings or your Android advertising settings.
The App may also use Android advertising technologies such as:

Topics,
where supported by Android and permitted by applicable law.
FT PVT. LIMITED does not sell your personal information for money.
However, advertising-related data transfers may be considered "sharing" or targeted advertising under certain privacy laws.

Depending on your Android version, the App may request or declare the following permissions:

save scans;
save images; and
export generated documents.
Different Android versions may use different photo, media or storage permissions.
Internet
Used for:
loading advertisements;
communicating with Google services;
managing consent;
verifying purchases; and
opening links selected by you.
Network State
Used to determine network availability for services such as advertising and purchase verification.
Advertising ID and Android Ad Services
Used by Google advertising technology for purposes such as:
advertising;
measurement;
attribution; and
fraud prevention.
Google Play Billing
Used to offer and verify Premium purchases.
Foreground Service and Wake Lock
May be used while completing document or image-processing operations.
Vibration
May be used to provide haptic feedback.
The App does not require access to your:
precise GPS location;
coarse GPS location;
microphone;
contacts;
call logs;
SMS messages;
calendar; or
accounts
for its normal scanning functionality.
You can change App permissions at any time through Android Settings.
7. Data Storage and Security
Your scans, images, PDFs, recognised text, signatures and related document information are normally stored on your device.
Files stored in the App's private storage remain on your device until you:
delete them;
clear the App's data; or
uninstall the App.
Files that you save to shared folders such as Documents, Pictures or Downloads may remain on your device after uninstalling the App.
Android's App-private storage helps protect files from access by other applications.
Information transmitted by services such as Google AdMob or Google Play is generally protected using encrypted connections.
No electronic method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
We recommend using:
a screen lock;
PIN;
password;
fingerprint; or
other supported device-security features.
8. Sharing and External Services
The App may allow you to share PDFs, images or text through Android's system share feature.
If you choose to share information with another service, such as:
email;
messaging apps;
cloud-storage services; or
other installed applications,
that service's own privacy policy will apply.
When you choose to open a QR-code or barcode result in a browser or search engine, the relevant content may be sent to that external service.
If you copy recognised text, it may be placed on your device clipboard.
FT PVT. LIMITED does not control how third-party applications handle information that you intentionally send to them.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
On-Device Data
Documents and related App data remain on your device until you:
delete the documents;
clear the App's data; or
uninstall the App.
Files saved outside App-private storage may remain until you manually delete them.
Advertising Data
Google retains advertising-related information according to Google's own retention policies.
Purchase Data
Google retains purchase and payment-related information according to Google Play and Google Payments policies.
Support Emails
If you contact us by email, we may retain your message only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, resolve the request, comply with law or maintain necessary business records.
Because the App does not require an account and FT PVT. LIMITED does not store your scans on its own server, there is normally no FT PVT. LIMITED account or cloud document record to delete.
10. Children's Privacy
The App is not specifically directed to children under 13 or to children below the minimum legal age required in their country.
We do not knowingly collect children's scanned documents through FT PVT. LIMITED servers.
Where applicable, advertising will be handled in accordance with applicable child-privacy requirements, including COPPA and relevant Google advertising policies.

11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, privacy laws such as GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA or other applicable laws may give you certain rights.
These rights may include the right to:

request deletion;
restrict certain processing;
object to certain processing;
request data portability;
withdraw consent;
opt out of certain targeted advertising;
opt out of certain data sharing; and

Because your documents are normally stored only on your device, FT PVT. LIMITED generally cannot access or delete those documents for you.

12. International Data Transfers
FT PVT. LIMITED is located in Pakistan.
Third-party service providers such as Google may process information in countries other than your country of residence.
Where required, third-party providers may use recognised safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other legally approved transfer mechanisms.

13. Medical and Sensitive Documents
App is a general-purpose PDF viewing and document utility application.
It is not:
a medical application;
an MRI analysis application;
a medical diagnostic service;
a healthcare provider; or
a substitute for professional medical advice.
The App does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment recommendations or medical advice.
If you choose to scan a medical, health, identity, financial or other sensitive document, it is processed in the same manner as other documents described in this Privacy Policy.
Such documents are not intentionally uploaded to FT PVT. LIMITED servers.
The App is not represented as a HIPAA-covered electronic health record or healthcare business-associate service.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time if:
App functionality changes;
permissions change;
SDKs are added or removed;
legal requirements change; or
our privacy practices change.
When this happens, we will update the Last Updated date.
