Introduction

FT PVT. LIMITED (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides the Look Check mobile application (“Look Check,” the “App,” or the “Service”).

This Privacy Policy explains how Look Check accesses, processes, stores, uses, and shares information when you use the App.

By using Look Check, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Process

Look Check is designed to help users analyze an outfit and determine whether it may be suitable for a selected event or occasion.

Depending on the features you choose to use, the App may process:

  • Photos captured using your device camera;
  • Photos selected from your device;
  • Outfit images;
  • Event or occasion selections;
  • Saved looks or previous checks;
  • App preferences and settings;
  • Device and technical information;
  • Purchase or subscription status;
  • Advertising-related information where advertising is enabled;
  • Privacy and consent choices where applicable.

Look Check does not require your name, email address, phone number, contacts, SMS messages, microphone recordings, or precise location to provide its main outfit-checking functionality.

2. Photos and Image Processing

Look Check allows users to take a photo or select an existing image for outfit-related analysis.

The App uses on-device machine-learning technology for functions that may include:

  • Detecting a person in an image;
  • Detecting facial landmarks required for image processing;
  • Analyzing body pose;
  • Person or selfie segmentation;
  • Separating a person from the image background;
  • Supporting outfit-related analysis.

These machine-learning processes are intended to take place locally on your device.

Look Check is not intended to identify who a person is, perform identity-based facial recognition, create a remote biometric profile, or maintain a remote biometric database.

Your outfit photos are not intended to be uploaded to an external artificial-intelligence service for outfit analysis.

3. Camera and Photo Permissions

Look Check may request access to certain device permissions when required for a feature you choose to use.

Camera

Camera access is used when you choose to take an outfit photo directly through the App.

Photos and Media

Photo or media access may be used when you choose an existing image from your device.

You can deny or revoke these permissions through your Android device settings.

If you deny a required permission, the related feature may not function correctly.

4. Information Stored Locally

Look Check may store certain information locally on your device, such as:

  • Outfit photos;
  • Previous outfit checks;
  • Saved looks;
  • App preferences;
  • App-related local information.

Certain temporary or check-related images may be removed automatically according to the App's configured retention settings.

Items that you intentionally save may remain on your device until you:

  • Delete them in the App;
  • Clear the App's data;
  • Uninstall Look Check.

5. Automatically Processed Technical Information

Some services integrated into Look Check may automatically process limited technical information required to provide their functionality.

Depending on which services and features are active, this information may include:

  • Device type and model;
  • Operating-system information;
  • App version;
  • Application or package identifier;
  • IP address;
  • Network information;
  • Firebase-related installation identifiers;
  • Advertising identifiers where applicable;
  • Ad impressions or interactions;
  • Privacy or consent choices;
  • Purchase or subscription status;
  • Technical configuration information.

The processing of this technical information does not mean that your outfit photos are shared with those services for outfit analysis.

6. How We Use Information

Information processed through Look Check may be used to:

  • Provide outfit-checking functionality;
  • Allow you to capture or select photos;
  • Perform on-device image analysis;
  • Provide results based on your selected event or occasion;
  • Save and manage looks locally;
  • Maintain your App preferences;
  • Retrieve App configuration;
  • Manage purchases and subscriptions;
  • Display advertising where enabled;
  • Manage advertising and privacy consent where required;
  • Maintain App functionality;
  • Protect against misuse or technical problems;
  • Meet applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your outfit photographs.

7. Firebase Remote Config

Look Check uses Firebase Remote Config, a service provided by Google.

Firebase Remote Config allows the App to receive configuration values that may change certain App behavior without requiring a complete App update.

Remote configuration may relate to matters such as:

  • Feature availability;
  • Usage limits;
  • Retention settings;
  • Purchase-related options;
  • Advertising settings.

Firebase and Google may process technical information needed to provide this functionality.

Your outfit photos are not intended to be uploaded to Firebase Remote Config for outfit analysis.

8. Advertising and Google AdMob

Look Check includes support for Google Mobile Ads / AdMob.

If advertising is enabled in the version of the App you use, Google and its advertising technologies may process information such as:

  • Advertising identifiers;
  • Device or application identifiers;
  • IP address;
  • Device information;
  • Ad impressions;
  • Ad interactions;
  • Fraud and security signals;
  • Privacy or consent choices;
  • Approximate location inferred from network or device information where applicable.

Depending on your location, device settings, consent choices, and applicable law, advertising may be personalized, non-personalized, or otherwise limited.

Your outfit photos are not intended to be provided to advertisers for advertising purposes.

9. Google User Messaging Platform (UMP)

Look Check may use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage advertising-related privacy and consent requirements.

Where applicable, UMP may be used to:

  • Determine whether a privacy or consent message should be displayed;
  • Present an applicable consent form;
  • Record applicable privacy choices;
  • Determine whether advertising may be requested;
  • Provide privacy options where available.

The availability of consent forms and privacy controls may depend on your location, applicable law, Google settings, and the App's advertising configuration.

10. Purchases and Subscriptions

Look Check may offer purchases or subscriptions through Google Play Billing.

When you make or restore a purchase, the transaction is processed by Google Play.

Google may provide Look Check with limited information required to:

  • Verify a purchase;
  • Determine whether a subscription is active;
  • Restore purchases;
  • Unlock paid functionality.

FT PVT. LIMITED does not receive your complete credit-card, debit-card, or other payment-card details through Google Play Billing.

Payment and transaction information is handled according to Google's own privacy practices and terms.

11. Notifications

Look Check may request permission to display notifications where notification functionality is available.

You can allow, deny, or disable notification permission at any time through your Android device settings.

Disabling notifications does not prevent you from using App features that do not depend on notifications.

12. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

Look Check may use third-party services that process limited information required to provide their respective functionality.

Relevant services may include:

  • Google Firebase;
  • Firebase Remote Config;
  • Google Play Services;
  • Google Mobile Ads / AdMob;
  • Google User Messaging Platform;
  • Google Play Billing.

These third-party providers operate according to their own privacy policies, terms, and data-processing practices.

We do not intend to provide your locally analyzed outfit photos to these third-party providers for outfit analysis.

13. Data Retention

Photos and other information stored locally by Look Check may remain on your device according to the App's configured retention settings.

Temporary or check-related images may be automatically deleted after an applicable retention period.

Saved looks may remain on your device until you:

  • Delete them manually;
  • Clear Look Check's application data;
  • Uninstall the App.

Information processed independently by Google or another third-party provider may be retained according to that provider's own privacy policy and legal obligations.

14. Data Deletion

Look Check may provide controls that allow you to delete locally stored information such as:

  • Photos;
  • Previous checks;
  • Saved looks;
  • Other locally stored App information.

You may also remove locally stored information by:

  • Clearing Look Check's data through Android settings; or
  • Uninstalling the App.

Because outfit photos are primarily stored and processed locally, deleting Look Check's local App data generally removes those locally stored items from your device.

Information processed independently by a third-party provider is subject to that provider's own deletion and privacy controls.

15. Security

We take reasonable measures appropriate to the nature of the App to protect information processed through Look Check.

However, no software, device, electronic transmission, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Because certain photos and saved looks may be stored locally, you should also protect access to your device.

We do not claim that every locally stored item is encrypted unless such protection is specifically provided by the operating system or the App's verified implementation.

16. Children's Privacy

Look Check is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable children's privacy laws.

If we become aware that personal information from a child has been processed in circumstances requiring deletion or other action, we will take reasonable steps to address the matter.

Parents or guardians who believe that a child has provided personal information may contact us.

17. International Data Processing

Third-party providers used by Look Check, including Google services, may process technical, advertising, configuration, consent, or transaction-related information using servers located in countries other than your own.

Such processing is governed by the applicable service provider's privacy terms and legal safeguards.

Outfit photos processed locally on your device are not intended to be uploaded to a remote AI provider for outfit analysis.

18. GDPR and UK GDPR Rights

If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you may have certain rights concerning your personal data, including the right to:

  • Request access;
  • Request correction;
  • Request deletion;
  • Request restriction of processing;
  • Object to certain processing;
  • Request data portability where applicable;
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • Lodge a complaint with an applicable data-protection authority.

These rights are subject to applicable legal conditions and exceptions.

For information stored only on your device, you may generally manage or delete it directly through Look Check, Android settings, or by uninstalling the App.

Where information is processed independently by a third-party provider, that provider's privacy mechanisms may also apply.

19. California and Other U.S. Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence and applicable law, you may have certain rights relating to personal information, such as:

  • Access;
  • Correction;
  • Deletion;
  • Information about certain disclosures;
  • Certain advertising or privacy choices.

Where applicable, advertising-related choices may also be available through Google privacy controls, Android settings, or consent options provided in the App.

FT PVT. LIMITED does not sell your outfit photographs.

20. Your Choices and Controls

Depending on your device, region, and App configuration, you may be able to:

  • Deny camera access;
  • Deny photo or media access;
  • Delete saved photos;
  • Delete saved looks;
  • Clear Look Check's application data;
  • Disable notifications;
  • Manage applicable advertising privacy choices;
  • Manage Google advertising settings;
  • Manage or cancel subscriptions through Google Play;
  • Uninstall the App.

Certain features may not work when a required permission is disabled.

Look Check may provide access to third-party services or content.

FT PVT. LIMITED is not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or policies of independent third parties.

We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party service you use.

22. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when:

  • Look Check's features change;
  • Third-party services change;
  • Our privacy practices change;
  • Applicable laws or regulatory requirements change.

The updated version may be made available through the App, Google Play Store listing, our website, or another appropriate location.

The effective date displayed at the top of this Privacy Policy indicates when the current version became applicable.
