Introduction
FT PVT. LIMITED (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects the privacy of users of Odometer (“App”). This Privacy Policy explains how information may be accessed, processed, stored, used, and shared when you use the App.
By installing or using Odometer, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you should discontinue use of the App.
1. Information We Collect and Process
Odometer may process information necessary to provide its features and improve the operation, reliability, and security of the App.
Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, this may include:
- Device and application information;
- Android version, device model, and app version;
- IP address and network-related information;
- Approximate or precise location;
- App usage and interaction information;
- Diagnostic and performance information;
- Crash reports and technical logs;

The App does not intentionally request information that is unnecessary for its functionality.
2. Location Information
Odometer uses device location functionality.
The Android application declares access to:
android.permission.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATIONandroid.permission.ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION
Location access may be used for location-based features, maps, trip or movement-related functionality, location display, or other functions that require the user's current position.
Depending on your device and Android version, you may choose to provide approximate or precise location access.
The App may process information such as:
- Latitude and longitude;
- Approximate or precise location;
- Location accuracy;
- Location timestamps;
- Movement-related information where required by an active feature.
You can control location access through your Android device settings. Certain functionality may not work properly if location permission is denied.
The APK also contains Geolocator functionality and Mapbox-related mapping/geocoding components.
Mapbox may receive technical information necessary to deliver map services, including IP addresses and, depending on the service being used and permissions granted, location information. Mapbox documents its privacy and location-data practices separately.
See the Mapbox Privacy Policy .
3. Information Stored on Your Device
Odometer may store certain information locally on your device, including application preferences, settings, feature state, and other information required for normal app functionality.
The application contains local preference/storage functionality. Some app data may therefore remain on your device until:
- You delete it through an available app feature;
- You clear the App's storage;
- You uninstall the App; or
- The information is otherwise overwritten or removed by the operating system.
Information stored by third-party services is subject to their respective retention practices.
4. How We Use Information
We may use information processed through Odometer to:
- Provide and operate App features;
- Provide location and map-related functionality;

We do not use personal information for purposes materially unrelated to those described in this Privacy Policy without an appropriate legal basis or notice.
5. Firebase Services
Odometer may use Google Firebase services to support technical functionality, diagnostics, messaging, configuration, and related application operations.
Google explains that different Firebase services may process identifiers, diagnostic information, IP addresses, installation identifiers, or other technical information depending on the Firebase product being used.
Firebase Crashlytics
We may use Firebase Crashlytics to detect crashes, diagnose technical problems, and improve the stability of Odometer.
Crashlytics may process information such as:
- Crash stack traces;
- Crash timestamps;
- App version;
- Device model and operating system;
- Device state and technical characteristics;
- Crashlytics Installation UUID;
- Firebase Installation ID;
- Session identifiers; and
- Other diagnostic information related to a crash.
Google states that Crashlytics uses this information to associate crashes with applications and assist developers in diagnosing errors.
We do not use Crashlytics for the purpose of directly identifying users.
Firebase Cloud Messaging
Odometer may use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver push notifications.
FCM may process:
- Firebase Installation IDs;
- Push notification/device tokens;
- App and device information;
- Information required to route and deliver notifications.
Google states that Firebase Installation IDs are used by FCM to determine which devices should receive messages.
Users may disable notifications through Android notification settings.
Firebase Remote Config
We may use Firebase Remote Config to adjust certain App configuration values, functionality, settings, or feature behavior without requiring a complete App update.
Remote Config may use Firebase Installation IDs to provide appropriate configuration values to a device.
Remote Config is not intended to store sensitive user information.
Other Firebase Processing
Where other Firebase functionality is enabled, Google may process technical service information according to Google's Firebase terms and privacy documentation.
Google generally describes Firebase customers as controllers/businesses for applicable customer data and Google as a processor/service provider for many Firebase services.
More information: Firebase Privacy and Security , Firebase Cloud Messaging and Firebase Remote Config .
6. Google User Messaging Platform (UMP)
Odometer may use the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to display privacy or consent messages and manage user privacy choices where required.
UMP may be used, for example, to:
- Request and update consent information;
- Display required privacy messages;
- Record consent choices;
- Determine whether certain Google services or advertising functionality may be requested; and
- Provide access to privacy options.
Google describes UMP as a privacy and messaging tool designed to help applications manage users' privacy choices.
Where required, users may be able to change their choices through the App's privacy options or applicable device/service controls.

7. Google Play Billing and Purchases
The APK includes Google Play Billing functionality.
If Odometer offers paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases, transactions are processed through Google Play.
Google may process information necessary to complete and manage a transaction, including:
- Purchase information;
- Product or subscription identifiers;
- Transaction identifiers;
- Account/payment-related information maintained by Google; and
- Information necessary for fraud prevention and transaction validation.
FT PVT. LIMITED generally does not receive your complete bank account or payment-card credentials from Google Play.
We may receive transaction status, purchase tokens, product information, or other information necessary to verify and provide purchased functionality.
Payment processing is also governed by Google's applicable privacy and payment terms.
See the Google Privacy Policy and Google Play Terms of Service .
8. Internet and Network Access
Odometer uses internet access to support features that may require communication with external services.
The APK includes:
- Internet access;
- Network-state functionality;
- Map/network communication;
- Google service components; and
- Third-party service communication.
When a device communicates with an online service, technical information such as an IP address may necessarily be transmitted as part of internet communication.
9. Maps and Mapbox
Odometer includes Mapbox-related map functionality.
Mapbox services may be used to:
- Display maps;
- Load map tiles;
- Search for places;
- Geocode locations; and
- Provide other location/map features.
When Mapbox services are requested, Mapbox may receive information necessary to provide those services, including IP address and potentially location information when location-enabled functionality is used.
Mapbox states that end-user location information may be received when a licensed application uses Mapbox services and the user has authorized device location access.
Mapbox's handling of information is governed by its own privacy terms.
See the Mapbox Privacy Policy .
10. Notifications
Odometer may send local or remote notifications.
Where Firebase Cloud Messaging or another notification service is enabled, a device token or installation identifier may be processed to deliver the notification.
You can disable notifications at any time through your device's system settings.
Disabling notifications may prevent certain reminders or messages from being shown.
11. Advertising and Consent
If advertising functionality is enabled in a version of Odometer, advertising providers may process limited device or advertising-related information to:
- Serve advertisements;
- Measure advertisement performance;
- Prevent fraud;
- Limit repeated advertisements; and
- Comply with user consent preferences.
Where applicable, Google UMP may be used to request and manage consent relating to personalized or non-personalized advertising.
The APK reviewed for this policy did not clearly expose a Google Mobile Ads/AdMob SDK. Advertising configuration should therefore be verified against the actual production release before publication.
For Google's privacy practices, see the Google Privacy Policy .
12. Analytics and Diagnostics
Odometer may use analytics, performance, crash-reporting, and diagnostic technologies to understand App performance and fix technical issues.
Depending on the services enabled, the information processed may include:

- Providing App functionality;
- Maintaining legitimate operational records;
- Diagnosing technical problems;
- Completing purchases;
- Fulfilling legal obligations; or
- Protecting the App and users.
Information stored solely on your device may remain until it is removed by you, cleared through Android settings, or deleted when the App is uninstalled.

Third-party information is also subject to the respective provider's retention and deletion procedures.
16. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information processed through Odometer.
However, no application, device, internet connection, transmission method, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.
Where third-party services are used, their security practices are also governed by their own systems and terms.
Google states that Firebase services use HTTPS for data in transit and describes additional security protections for various Firebase products in its privacy and security documentation .
17. Children's Privacy
Odometer is not intended to knowingly collect unnecessary personal information from children.
However, the exact target-audience configuration selected in Google Play should be consistent with the App's actual audience and Google Play declarations.
If the App is made available to children or included in a child-directed audience category, FT PVT. LIMITED will apply applicable children's privacy requirements and Google Play requirements.
If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us at: kcorporation70@gmail.com .
We will review the request and take appropriate action where required.
18. International Data Processing
Some third-party providers used by Odometer operate internationally.
As a result, technical or personal information processed by services such as Google/Firebase or Mapbox may be processed in countries outside the user's country of residence.
Google states that many Firebase services operate using global Google infrastructure. See Firebase Privacy and Security .
Any cross-border processing is subject to the applicable service provider's contractual, privacy, and legal safeguards.

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, users may have rights such as:
- Access to personal data;
- Correction of inaccurate information;

- Opt out of certain forms of sharing or targeted advertising where applicable; and
- Exercise privacy rights without unlawful discrimination.
The exact rights available depend on the applicable jurisdiction and whether the relevant legal thresholds apply to FT PVT. LIMITED.
We do not claim to “sell” personal information merely because a third-party service processes information on our behalf.
21. Consent and Permission Controls
You may control certain App processing through:
- Android location permissions;
- Android notification settings;
- Google privacy controls;
- Consent messages shown through UMP where applicable;
- Advertising privacy controls where applicable;
