FT PVT. LIMITED ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the App mobile application ("App").
This Privacy Policy explains how information is accessed, collected, processed, used, stored, and shared when you use the App.
We are committed to handling user information responsibly and in accordance with applicable privacy requirements and Google Play policies.
1. Information We Access or Process
The App provides translation, camera translation, voice-related functionality, document/PDF translation, OCR/text recognition, language identification, dictionary, pronunciation, AI-assisted features, history/favorites, advertising, notifications, and premium or in-app purchase functionality.
Depending on the features you use, the following information may be accessed or processed.
Text and Translation Content
When you enter or paste text for translation, dictionary lookup, or AI-assisted functionality, the text is processed to provide the requested service.
Some translation or AI functions may require the text to be transmitted over the internet to a third-party service or processing server.
The App contains integration with Google translation-related services and an external AI processing service.
Images and Camera Content
If you use camera translation or image-based text recognition, the App may access:
images captured using your device camera;
images selected by you from your device; and
text detected within those images.
Camera and media access is used only when required for the feature selected by the user.
Images may be processed using text-recognition/OCR technology.
The App does not require access to your precise GPS location in order to use camera translation.
Voice and Microphone Data
If you use a voice or speech-related feature, the App may request access to your device microphone.
Microphone access is used to receive speech or voice input necessary for the requested functionality.
The App does not intentionally use microphone access for continuous background recording.
Depending on the speech-processing service available on the device or used by the selected feature, speech information may be processed by Android, Google, or another speech-processing provider.
Files and Documents
If you choose a PDF or another supported document for translation or processing, the App may access that document using Android's file-selection functionality.
The App accesses files selected by the user for the purpose of providing the requested document-related functionality.
Translation History and Favorites
The App contains translation history and favorites functionality.
Information saved through these features may be stored locally on your device.
If cloud synchronization or remote storage is enabled in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
Device, Advertising, and Technical Information
The App contains advertising, analytics, Firebase, and measurement technologies that may automatically process information such as:
IP address;
general or approximate location inferred from IP address;
advertising identifier;
app-set or installation identifiers;
device model;
operating-system information;
application version;
language or locale;
network information;
advertising impressions and interactions;
app launches, taps and other app interactions;
diagnostic and performance information; and
information used for fraud prevention, security and advertising measurement.
The App does not request Android precise-location or approximate-location permission. Any general location used by advertising services may instead be inferred from technical information such as the device's IP address.
Notification Information
The App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging technology and may process an app-instance or installation identifier, application version and related technical information required to deliver notifications.
Purchase Information
The App contains Google Play Billing functionality for premium features, subscriptions, or other in-app purchases.
Google Play may process payment information, transaction details and purchase credentials.
The App may receive information such as:
purchased product or subscription;
purchase status;
purchase token;
entitlement status; and
transaction-related identifiers.
FT PVT. LIMITED does not directly receive users' complete debit-card or credit-card numbers through Google Play Billing.
2. How We Use Information
Information may be used to:
provide text and language translation;
recognize text in photographs or images;
provide camera translation;
provide voice or speech-related functionality;
translate or process selected documents;
provide dictionary and pronunciation functionality;
provide AI-assisted responses where requested;
identify languages;
remember history, favorites and user preferences;
download required language models;
deliver push notifications;
provide and manage advertisements;
manage consent choices for advertising where required;
process premium purchases or subscriptions;
measure application and advertising performance;
detect errors and technical problems;
prevent fraud, abuse and invalid advertising activity;
improve stability, reliability and functionality; and
comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell user-created translation content directly as a commercial database.
Advertising and analytics providers may independently process technical, advertising and device information according to their own privacy policies and applicable consent choices.
3. App Permissions
The App may request the following Android permissions.
Camera
Used for camera-based translation, capturing an image, and OCR/text recognition.
Microphone
Used when you choose voice or speech-input functionality.
Photos, Images, Audio, Video and Storage
The App contains media and storage permissions for accessing files or media required by features such as image translation and document processing.
On supported Android versions, Android's system file or media picker may also be used so that you can select specific content.
The App does not intentionally scan unrelated personal files for advertising purposes.
Internet
Required for online translation services, AI functionality, advertisements, Firebase services, notifications, model downloads, dictionaries, purchases and other network-based features.
Network and Wi-Fi State
Used to determine network availability and may also be used by advertising and service SDKs.
Notifications
Used to display notifications when you allow notification permission.
Advertising ID and Android Advertising Services
The App contains advertising technologies that may use the Android Advertising ID and Android advertising-related APIs for advertising, attribution, measurement and fraud prevention, subject to Android settings, consent requirements and applicable law.
Wake Lock / Foreground Processing
May be used to allow certain network or background operations to complete reliably.
Google Play Billing
Used to enable purchases, subscriptions or premium functionality through Google Play.
You may deny optional runtime permissions through Android settings. Some features may not function if their required permission is denied.
4. Advertising and Consent
The App contains Google Mobile Ads and advertising mediation technologies.
Advertising providers present in the App may include:
Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads;
AppLovin;
Meta Audience Network;
Liftoff/Vungle;
Mintegral/MBridge; and
Pangle.
These services may process information such as IP address, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, advertising interactions, application interactions, diagnostic information and fraud-prevention information.
Where legally required, the App may use Google's User Messaging Platform or other consent mechanisms to request advertising/privacy choices before personalized advertising or related processing takes place.
Users can also control or reset advertising identifiers and certain advertising-personalization settings through their Android or Google settings where those controls are available.

5. Analytics, Firebase and Technical Services
The App contains Firebase and Google service components including technologies associated with:
Firebase Analytics;
Firebase Cloud Messaging;
Firebase Installations;
Firebase Crashlytics;
Firebase Database/Firestore libraries;
Google data transport;
Google measurement services; and
Google Install Referrer.
These technologies may process device, installation, application-interaction, notification, diagnostic or technical information depending on the feature and configuration in use.
The APK is configured with automatic Firebase Crashlytics collection disabled at manifest level. Crash reporting behavior may nevertheless depend on the runtime configuration used by the App.
Firebase Cloud Messaging processes information required to register the App installation and deliver notifications.
Google services are subject to Google's privacy policies and service-specific terms.
6. Translation, OCR and Machine-Learning Services
The App contains Google ML Kit and related machine-learning components for functionality such as:
language identification;
language translation; and
text recognition/OCR.
Some ML Kit functionality can operate on the device, while required models or supporting resources may be downloaded from Google.
The App may also communicate with online translation services when an online translation feature is requested.
Information submitted to a third-party service is subject to that service provider's privacy and security practices.
7. AI-Assisted Features
The App contains an AI-chat or contextual-response integration.
When you voluntarily use an AI feature, text or prompts that you submit may be transmitted to the service used to generate a response.
Do not submit confidential, highly sensitive, financial, medical, authentication, password, or other information that is not necessary to use the feature.
The exact independent retention and processing practices of the third-party AI service are controlled by that service provider.
8. Third-Party Services
The App contains or may interact with third-party technologies including:
Google Play Services;
Google Mobile Ads / AdMob;
Google User Messaging Platform;
Google Analytics for Firebase;
Firebase Cloud Messaging;
Firebase Installations;
Firebase Crashlytics;
Google ML Kit;
Google Play Billing;
AppLovin;
Meta Audience Network;
Liftoff/Vungle;
Mintegral/MBridge;
Pangle;
online translation services;
dictionary services; and
AI-processing services.
These providers may independently collect or process information when their technology is used.
Their processing is governed by their respective privacy policies and terms.
We encourage users to review the privacy information made available by these providers.
9. Data Sharing
We may share or permit the processing of information only as reasonably necessary for purposes such as:
providing requested translation, OCR, voice, document, dictionary or AI functionality;
serving and measuring advertisements;
analytics and application measurement;
push-notification delivery;
completing Google Play purchases;
detecting fraud or security incidents;
maintaining and improving technical performance;
complying with applicable law or a valid legal request; or
protecting our rights, users and services.
We do not grant third parties unrestricted access to your camera, microphone, photographs or documents.
Third-party SDKs integrated into the App may independently collect technical or advertising information according to their own configurations and privacy policies.
10. Data Storage
Certain information, including translation history, favorites, user selections and application preferences, may be stored locally on your device.
Third-party providers may store information processed through their services on their own infrastructure.
The duration of third-party retention is determined by the relevant provider's privacy policy, configuration and applicable law.
11. Data Retention
We retain information under our direct control only for as long as reasonably necessary for:
providing the requested functionality;
maintaining application preferences or locally stored history;
fulfilling legal or accounting obligations;
preventing fraud or abuse;
resolving disputes; and
enforcing applicable agreements.
Locally stored App information generally remains on your device until you remove it through the App, clear application data, or uninstall the App, depending on the applicable feature.
Information processed by advertising, analytics, Firebase, AI or other external providers may be retained according to those providers' respective policies.
12. Data Deletion
You may delete locally stored App information by using available history/favorites deletion controls, clearing the App's storage through Android settings, or uninstalling the App.

to request deletion of personal information that is held directly by us, where applicable.
Please include sufficient information to allow us to identify the relevant request without sending unnecessary sensitive information.
Data controlled independently by third parties such as Google, advertising providers, or other service providers may need to be deleted or managed using the privacy controls provided by those services.
The APK analyzed for this Privacy Policy does not establish a user-account registration system requiring a separate in-app account-deletion mechanism.
13. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse or loss.
Network-based third-party services generally use secure network connections where supported by the relevant provider.
No electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users should avoid submitting unnecessary confidential or highly sensitive information through translation, AI, or other online processing features.
14. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable child-privacy laws.
If the App is offered to children or includes children within its Google Play target audience, FT PVT. LIMITED will implement the additional measures required by Google Play's Families policies and applicable laws, including appropriate advertising, SDK, consent and data-processing restrictions.

15. International Data Transfers
Third-party service providers used by the App may operate servers and infrastructure in multiple countries.
Accordingly, technical information, advertising information, translation requests, AI prompts or other information processed through online services may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the user's country of residence.
Such countries may have different privacy and data-protection laws.
Where required, applicable providers and FT PVT. LIMITED will rely on appropriate legal mechanisms for international processing and transfers.
16. User Choices
Depending on your device, region and applicable law, you may be able to:
allow or deny camera access;
allow or deny microphone access;
choose which photographs or files to provide;
disable notification permission;
clear locally stored App data;
delete translation history or favorites where supported;
reset or delete the Android Advertising ID;
manage advertising personalization settings;
make advertising consent choices;
cancel subscriptions through Google Play; and
uninstall the App.
Disabling a permission may cause the corresponding feature to stop functioning.
17. Legal Requirements and Protection
Information may be disclosed where reasonably necessary to:
comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request;
investigate fraud, abuse or security incidents;
enforce applicable terms;
protect the rights or safety of FT PVT. LIMITED, users or others; or
establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
18. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when:
App functionality changes;
SDKs or service providers change;
data-processing practices change;
legal requirements change; or
Google Play requirements change.
When changes are made, the revised Privacy Policy will display an updated effective date.
Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
